Well Executed, Large Number of Apps

I have only had the Roku 4 for about a week, however I believe it is currently the best all-around media streamer you can purchase for the money. Pros: All the apps you could want, easy user interface, good remote control. Cons: Tough to determine which apps are meaningful, app controls are implemented inconsistently (how you exit out, go back etc) so the navigation can be a little confusing if you aren't paying attention.

Still the best

This is my 3rd Roku. Over the years, I tried different media streamers, but came back to Roku. The Roku 4 was easy to setup and use. I love the ability to stream 4k video to my 4k TV. I also love the headphones which allow me to quietly watch shows when my significant other is asleep. Also, I had no problem with fan noise which some previous purchasers have reported.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this for a few days and I really like it.
Problems
1. One of the hot button services is no long er supported. I have not figured out if I can reprogram the button so now I have a useless button on the remote.
2. On some of the private channels the back button doesn't work so you have to go all the way back using the home button.
3. A little better explanation for the software is needed but if you dig on the Internet you can find the answer.
No problems with streaming and lots of things to watch.

Our family reviewed the Roku in the past but never made the splurge. Our existing Wii cannot stream efficiently as the new Roku 4 and we find the remote to be very user friendly. The home page is well laid out and overall we are very pleased with this latest version of Roku.

So far so great

I have only had the Roku 4 for a week or two. I also have the AppleTV 4th Generation. I love them both equally. Some of the bad reviews on the Roku (like it makes a loud noise) I have not experienced at all. SlingTv app is built-in which is nice if you use sling. The whole thing is intuitive and easy to use. I definitely recommend it.
