I recently upgraded to a 4K UHD and HAD to have it! NOT disappointed one bit! MORE than worth the price I paid!

Great streaming device!

This is my 3rd Roku and it is, by far, the fastest streaming device I've owned. The Roku 2 and Roku 3 are now in my kid's homes and we're all very happy with the Roku brand.

I have four Roku 2's and one Roku stick. I bought the Roku 4 for the voice control feature and high speed processor. However, no user manual is provided or available online. Nowhere is it explained that the hour glass on the new remote is for voice search. The online information merely says "push button" but doesn't say whay button.

I purchased the Roku 4 a few weeks ago. Vast improvement. Sound in theatre is far better than Roku 3 due to fiber optical port. Processor much faster, and the network connection is compatible with AC protocol making internet services far faster than before. Extremely satisfied.

Good but you need to have more information on how to use the features.for example it took me all day to get the speak search to work.if you're getting this for that feature then I would not recommend it unless it works better the more you use it.most of the features seem like there in beta.

The unit it's sleek and works beautifully. Audio and video it's superb. My only complaint it's that if you buy this Roku 4 and try to activate it out of Usa, Canada or Mexico, you'll loose everything (Netflix, Hulu, the voice search of the remote controler, etc). So if you're planning on taking out of Usa, Canada or Mexico the Roku 4, don't waste your money on a fancy unit that it will work and wit less features of cheaper units.
If you're planning on using your Roku 4 in Usa, Canada or Mexico then it's a terrific unit, really good

Great Features

I purchased the Roku 4 last week. Easy to install and hook up. In addition to the HDMI connection to the TV. I especially like the optical audio port which I connected to my audio receiver so we can enjoy high fidelity surround sound. With the variety of channels available through Roku, we were able to drop our satellite TV provider giving us substantial savings every month. I love the Roku 4 and wish we had made the switch to Roku sooner.

Good upgrade, some refinement needed

Good initial version for 4K support. Now has a fan, no big deal, to cool down the electronics. This is most likely due to the increase of processor power needed for 4K content. The only real issue is the remote. The skip back/instant relay button has been changed to search. So I hit that button all the time wanted to go back in the video a few seconds and now I completed exited from the video. This is a pretty big oversight by the developers. Never take away a feature from users.
