Purchasing this item played a part in out 'cutting the cord' project. We were unhappy with the rising costs of satellite TV. We are quite pleased with the device and the broadcast options that it makes available. The 4 K UHD quality of the picture is grrreeeaaat. We're very happy with this purchase.

Great Streaming Device with one problem!

Pros: Works great for streaming movies and it is easy to set up.
Cons: Runs very hot and the unit freezes for about 10 to 15 seconds when you give it a lot of activity. I don't know if this is normal but the freezing is very disruptive.

My Roku was given to me for my Birthday. It is awesome I can get Netflix and Amazon quickly love the voice activation.

I had the Roku 3 and I just upgraded to the 4. What a difference! The interface is slick, the response time when you hit a button is fast, and with all the improvements, I've got no more problems trying to view high end videos now (1080p and 4k) It feels like I upgraded my TV as well. Thank you Roku

I already have Roku 1 and 3 and love them. I got the 4 to replace the 1 in the living room as a gift. When I first took it out of the box I was surprised at how much bigger it seemed. When it's set up it seems less noticeable than the one or three because it's so thin. Fast as ever, I can go back and forth between all my instant services with almost no lag time. I'll always swear by Roku!
