I am using Roku3 since more than 2 years without any problem. Few days back I bought a Roku4. It is working, but few problems which cannot be solved through the technical staff of Roku. Now returning it. After going the device in sleeping mode, it cannot be ON even after pressing the keys on remote controller.
I would recommend this to a friend!

THE ROKU WORKS FASTER AND IS EASIER TO FIND NEW THINGS TO WATCH. I LIKE THE STILLS THAT COME ON THE SCREEN WHEN SEARCHING TITLES, THEY HELP TO DECIDE WHAT TO WATCH AND WHAT I'VE ALL READY SEEN.

Great Product but 4K a Disappointment

I purchased this product instead of the new Apple TV for 2 reasons - one because I can access Amazon Prime and two because it has the capability to access 4K content. However, Roku requires an HDMI 2.2 port, which neither my one year old TV nor my stereo receiver provide. Consequently, 4K is only available to me if upgrade all of my equipment. I understand now why Apple does not offer this feature - the technology is simply not in place. Other than that, the ROKU 4 delivers everything it claims and is a great solution.

Overall Good, But Needs Some Work

I own 2 Roku 4 units. While they are great for someone like me that needs a source to stream 4k on 1st gen Sony 4K TVs. The Roku 4 is not without issues. The first being the temperature being so high, and the venting is just inadequate. I don't have the fan issue that I have read others have. However I have heard it a couple of times and can see why others are complaining about it.
My main issue with the units is the powering off option after 30 minutes. Every time I have tried to turn them back on I get sound and no picture. The graphics will display, but no video. The boxes need to be reset before video is restored. I hope a firmware upgrade can take care of that.

Great Features

I bought this about 4 weeks ago. Very quiet and perfect picture. The only thing I wish were different is its interface. I would like to be able to customize my user interface. While it would likely be very difficult to impossible I wish there was a a way they could offer a TV Guide type approach to all the streaming channels you choose. It would make it easier to find what you want and would likely have more people pulling the plug on cable.
