So easy to use

The best thing I didn't know I needed!

Received my Roku 4 as a gift and I find myself now using it as my primary source of entertainment daily. I previously had to switch between my Samsung Smart TV, Panasonic Smart Blu-Ray player, and my Xbox One and PS4 because none of them had a comprehensive set of streaming services like the Roku. Although there are a ton of streaming services, the 3 I miss are Apple Music, Apple Movies and SyFy. If you really need to use them, then just get the HDMI-lightning dongle to connect to your TV.
I was already a subscriber to paid services such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Showtime, etc, so I have not used any of the lesser known services. I'm sure there are some good ones, but I think I have more than enough to watch.
Setup was simple and straightforward, but can take some time if you have a bunch of services to login to. I wish that when setting up your Roku account on a computer, you could do the logging in of your streaming services through the website. The remote lacks a keyboard and inputting your e-mail and password for every service just gets annoying after a while.
If you use Closed Captioning like I do, it would be nice if you could change the size/style and turn it on/off while using a service like Hulu. Instead, you have to exit to Home, go to the settings, make my changes and start the app again. If you don't like it, then you have to start all over again.
One final comment is that the quad-core processor and the dual band wifi make access to everything quick, efficient and the HD looks great! I can't believe I tolerated all those other devices I used to watch my shows on. And the fact that it uses less power than them is a plus too.
It's been only a week since I got my Roku 4, and I absolutely love it!

All the choices of channels,loads of movies,i added sling tv,with the good channels,never going back to Dish,it's cheaper.Just added Hulu,love the old shows,better then what's on now.I also upgraded from the 3 to the 4,way better picture.

Cable was just getting to $$$ even with out movie channels.
For the cost of one months cable bill I got 2 Roku 3's and two HD antennas, savings $111.00 a month.

Just got the roku and it's great. Only gripe rare that it's missing AMC and Cartoon Network. Great for travel because we get to take our directv channels with us.
