The voice search needs improvement and three should be more streaming content that doesn't require you to partner up with bigger tv company's.

I got this only a few days ago but it's really cool. Lots of free programing. You have to use a computer or smart phone to turn on some of the stuff. You also have to buy an hdmi wire I got the roku 4
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have DIRECTV at home and I keep getting the adds that they stream 4K but in order to do that, they have to send a technician to do a weir set up on the box and add more cables (which my wife hates) not to mention that the content takes forever to download and there's almost nothing available in 4K.
With Roku 4 it is super simple, great 4K content in one place with a user-friendly set up process (just a power supply and a HDMI cable). the part that I really like is the 4K spotlight that recommends all the 4K content available from different sources!

Fast!

I bought Roku 4 about a week ago and it does look much better and runs fast! My only complaint is that I bought a 4K Ultra HDTV just for it and when. I load one of the offered 4K movie channels, it says my TV isnt 4k... And I definitely know it is. But otherwise, everything else is perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Get tv over the internet

I cut the cord and got this for programming that I wouldn't have to pay for. The picture is great but the directions on use are pretty sketchy.

Nice streaming device

I have only used the roku4 for about a week now and I am impressed so far. I like the hdmi cable connection for great picture quality and the voice search option. That wayyy beats typing in search. Better than streaming through the WII as we were doing before splurging for the Roku4. My only concern is that the device does get rather warm though. So users be aware to leave some space around the device for proper ventallation. I also wish that the letters on the search screen, when you don't want to use the voice search, is a little small. It would be nice to have larger letters to make them more visiable. Thanks

Works with HBONow

I have a smart TV, but it is not a model that supports the new(ish) HBONow, so I got the Roku 4 just for that. I noticed that the Spotify app has a better layout than my TV's version, but the sound comes through much worse. Identical albums sound lossy through Roku, but fine through the TV.
I also was very annoyed that I was forced to enter credit card information. This seems like a security hole waiting for exploitation.
HBO comes through nicely. The app seems to have the same limitations as HBONow's online site, with poor browsing and navigation, but that is probably out of Roku's hands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
