The apps seem to run smoother on here than they do on my Apple TV/XboxOne/AmazonFire. There are more of them but 95% of the channels I don't care about and the ones that I do are pretty much the same ones that are on my other devices. I also wish there were more themes.

Good for my streaming services

I have both the Roku 3 &4 and both are very good pieces of electronic equipment for your entertainment needs. I recently upgraded to the 4 because I wanted the 4K capabilities so that when I purchase a new TV in the future I will already be able to view 4k content. All in all both are outstanding and I would recommend to anyone who wants to kick the old Cable company to the curb and join the wonderful world of the cord cutters.

In 02/2016, I bought the Roku 4 to replace my Tivo, which I needed when we didn't subscribe to cable to access streaming content. After researching the various options, I opted for the Roku 4 over the 3 because of potential future upgrades and, perhaps most importantly, the "Find Remote" feature (we have young children who like to make the remote disappear).
The Roku 4 was easy to install and set up as advertised. Sometimes I have issues with some devices picking up my Wifi signal, but have had no such issues with the Roku 4, so this was a pleasant relief.
The Roku 4 interface is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. It may be my imagination, but the Roku 4 seems to access the streaming sites quicker then what I experienced through my last system?
Thus far, my only potential disappointment is that the "Find Remote" feature doesn't always seem to work? I've put the remote in some of my kid's favorite hiding places to test the range - sometimes it will work from further distance then I would have expected and then other times it didn't work when relatively close. I paid a $20 difference for the Roku 4 vs. the Roku 3, so it will pay off in terms of frustration if it only works one time when the kids hide it for real! Plus, it does have other features over the Roku 3 that justify the $20 difference. Depending on where you buy it, the difference may be closer to $50 - at that point I would strongly consider the Roku 3.

Bought four days ago. I have the Roku 3 and the Roku stick. Roku 4k is a great addition.I wanted to upgrade and view movies on my 4k t.v. and had no problems what so ever. Watching video with Roku 4K in 2160p is amazing.

i got a roku tv once and i did love the roku functions, everything so good but that tv got red lines and i had to give it back to the store and they didn't had the same tv so i got a 4k without roku, and bought the roku 4 that support 4k. can't go without it
