Thoughtfully designed. Love the buttons to go directly to Netflix and Amazon. Wish one of the buttons could be "programmed" to go to a service I use (like Hulu), but that's a tiny limitation. Set up was easy peezy.

I'm new to Roku. I've had only cable for 40 years. There is soooo much available I have to take notes as I search through the content. If you pass one intriguing show and continue on to even more interesting genre the opportunities expand exponentially.
It's my third day and I haven't gotten past searching. I stop to watch a program only to let my remote fingers rest.This is like a new career.

Absolutely love my Roku

So I purchased my first Roku about 3 months ago, the Roku 3. Then I purchased my first 4K TV and had to purchase a Roku 4. At that point I determined I could stop bleeding money renting additional cable boxes by adding a slingbox. I then bought my second Roku 4 for a third room, and now am buying my 4th and final Roku 4 for my last room. During this whole process I discovered that I was watching Roku more than cable so I'm reducing my triple play package from Comcast to a more robust Internet only package, probably business class with no download limits. My bet is that the days of buying 500 channels to get the 10 you want are coming to an end and consumers will have granular control over the channels they get, and this will be done by streaming content, Roku, in my opinion, is the right device at the right time and I don't see a long future relationship between me and the cable company.
