Great, but ....

Setting up the roku worked like a charm. The only issues are:
1-The Rdio quick access button dont work anymore since Rdio closed. I would liked to be able to reassign it as an Hulu quick link.
2- The instant replay is replace by a search button.
3- There is no cord on the remote. It was useful when doing my workout.

Finally got everything set up for cutting the cord about 2 weeks ago. Love this. Saving about $90/month. Have 3 TV's and besides this Roku 4, also have a 3 and a streaming stick. Totally happy with the whole concept.

I am completely impressed and beyond happy with all of the features that the Roku 4 offers. I have never had a Roku or any other similar device, so when I decided to buy one I wanted to get the best. After lots of research I decided to go with Roku 4. Best decision ever

Love it .....so far!

This is a great little gadget. We were using our Wii console to stream Amazon and Netflix but it was extremely slow. The Roku is quick and the picture is clear and crisp. I've already used it to stream pictures and videos from my Ipad to the TV using the Roku app. The setup was simple enough (although I did not like having to supply my credit card number!). All in all, agreat little device. I would recommend it.

ROKU'S Great Apps. Machine

I've only had my ROKU 4 for four days. I've been researching ROKU for a couple of months. I chose it over Amazon's and Apple's media players. ROKU has much more programming and experience over the other two products. Even though the ROKU 4 is designed for the new 4K TV's, I have a 1080p TV. The ROKU 4 is of course backward compatible with ROKU's models 1 thru 3. I chose the ROKU 4 for the faster processors, the advanced interface, the ''Remote Finder'' feature, and hopefully, its ''Future Proofness''.
This product should've been an easy ''5 Star'' overall rating. However, I deducted 1 Star for ''lip-sink'' problems on High-Def programming. Also, for the fact that I have to increase my volume on my home theater's surround sound receiver receiver by a couple of decibels to get the same volume as I do with apps offered through my TIVO OTA DVR. My brother has the same problem with his ROKU 4 connected to his surround sound system. Note...Just like my brother, I'm, using the new generation High Bandwidth and High Speed HDMI cables with my ROKU 4...so there shouldn't be any compatibility issues. Hopefully, ROKU will address these issues in the future with an upgradeable download.
As far as the picture quality goes, it's pristine. To be fair, the minor issues listed above CAN be handled. The lip-sync problem can be managed by making an adjustment on my surround sound's internal menu. For more volume, all I have to do is adjust the volume a few points. This is not a deal breaker for me. I can live with these since I just need to make minor adjustments to my surround receiver. Bravo ROKU ! Job well done !
