Great system

Only problem is it fails to read my NAS server where I have over 3000 videos
There is no way to manually enter in an IP address to point to this drive
The only other thing is because it fails to find this computer I have no idea if it also will fail to read all my ISO files
So at this point this device works for current online services but it fails to help us who have been storing up our DVDs and videos on computer storage for future viewing . So it looks like ROKU is following the trend of companies like net gear, WP etc and have lost complete understanding of those of us who have been streaming video for years. We desparetly need a company who not only addresses the new online streaming services but also addresses our current at home libraries. This, in my opinion is a huge mistake
And these companies fail to recognize us and this hopefully will lead to them changing or the development of a new company that does this and hopefully will wipe out the complete incompetence of companies Like ROKU and run them out of business for their lack of understanding what their customers really need.

They seem to be following the Steve Jobs pattern
"I will decide what they need and they will follow me". Anything else they don't need and we will not support.

I sincerely hope that all these streaming devices all fail and burn because of their tendency to follow Apple TV

And now one by one devices like net gear and WD which used to let you stream your storage files including ISO are all completely dropping this support and are all becoming like APPLE very restrctive
Only support limited formats and none of them suppor the ability to give the device our in home servers

Cannot get 5.1 sound from Roku 4

Bought Roku 4 to get the highest quality in 4K picture to only be highly disappointed that 5.1 sound does not transmit from Roku 4. To me, sound is more important compared to 1080p vs 4K. After a few minutes, picture quality becomes moot between the 2 resolutions
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Way To Enjoy TV Minus Cable

Roku 4 has been great for watching tv programs which we can no longer watch because we cut our cable. We are enjoying the free possibilities for movies and TV programs and not having a cable bill.

Had this since Friday, seems to be a decent value for the product, and it works smoothly so far. The only complaint is that I wish a couple of apps, such as the Adult Swim app were available on it, but aside from that, I have had no issues and it does what I need it to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had the Roku Stick for a year and this upgrade was well worth it. So much faster, more fluid. Hbo Now, Amazon interface are terrible. They can learn a few thints format Netflix.

Love the fact that Netflix and SlingTv are available through this device. Faster than AppleTv and the Fire Stick.
