I bought this after my very old Roku2 started buffering on the HD content I was feeding it on my new faster internet connection. The ability to use profiles in Netflix is worth the price alone.

It works well and loads quickly. Bought it for Netflix. No mute button I can find on the remote. The only instructions are pictures to show the simple connections. The remote is not intuitive. One more picture to explain the button functions and menu selections would save some trial and error. The wireless head phone jack on the remote is a plus. Using it mutes the TV sound. Expensive tech support after 90 days is a minus.

Roku 4 locks up just like the Roku 3 did sometimes, the only fix is to unplug the power to the box and allow it to reset, other than that it's a great device! Also I would like to see NHK or some other Japanese originating content in addition to whats available.

I was using Xbox One for streaming, but even that doesn't compare to the speed and reliability of the Roku 4. The next best part is the remote. It's feels very good in your hand and you don't have to worry about pointing it at the base for it to work, it works no matter where it's pointed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
