Good thus far...

The Roku device is working well. When I first installed the device it was add hock for testing purposes only. I found the Roku to be stable and very user friendly. The final placement is in a remote Com cabinet. This configuration requires the HDMI signal to travel through an HDMI switch and then through a 100' HDMI cable. Some devices will not sync properly when configured in this manner - the Roku has no issues syncing and works as well as having it 10' from the screen. I also use a RF remote which breaks out RF to IR to control devices in the cabinet. The Roku works very well via IR commands as the included WiFi remote isn't strong enough to penetrate the Com cabinet. Over all the Roku is a welcomed addition to my Audio/Video distribution. One note to Roku: the requirement of a credit card for initial registration is an unwelcome intrusion - took two hours to find a link that would allow me to bypass the credit card requirement. Roku - make it much easier to bypass this requirement.

Alot of apps!!!!

I currently have two Roku sticks and the Roku 4. I am very pleased with all devices, especially the sticks considering the size and price. All devices have the same user interface, similar controllers, and all devices are very easy to install. I also like that the apps I installed appears on all three devices, I find that very useful considering the large library of apps Roku comes with. A few differences between the stick and the Roku 4 is speed, 4k capabilities, and a few enhancements to the remote. Now the bad in my opinion is even though your device is hd there are still many apps that don't show content in hd. I understand that it falls on to the developers of these apps but it would really be a much better experience considering almost everything is hd nowadays at least 720p on all free apps would be nice. On the other side premium apps show hd and 4k or uhd content and it looks fantastic, and yes there are other free apps that appear to be hd, but again if everything was at least 720p and higher it would be great. Overall Roku is doing a great job and if you want to get rid of your cable and their expensive bills Roku is the way to go.

Easy to Use

I bought the Roku 4 recently and am very happy with how easy it is to use and get to the movies I want to stream. The only thing that I would like to change is that after I have watched a series/episode and turned off the Roku and then decide to watch it again, it seems to want me to start at a more advanced episode. Example, if I was watching series 1, episode 6, it frequently will start on series 7 or 8, etc. If it would start with series 1, episode 7, that would be much better. This is a minor glitch, but I thought worth mentioning. Other than that, I really enjoy using it and would recommend to others.

Great 4K streaming player

I had this for two weeks and am very happy with the product. Streams 4K picture and the clarity is amazing. I say have a 4K TV paired with this player and connect with a 18GB HDMI cable for the best viewing experience. You may need to "reboot" the player once a while :)

Best ROKU thus far

I have only had it a week, but its sitting abut 12 feet from me. The fan that I have heard complaints about, is extremely quiet I have no complaints about the fan as for people saying it gets very HOT.. I have not experienced this yet.. It may be a little wrm but far from hot. I have watched several 4k movies, several HD movies with no issues. The picture quality is very nice. I also have a ROKU stick which is much slower but for a regular HD tv, Its perfect. So Far I have NO complaints!
