Love the search!

I had been using a PS3 for my streaming needs and was mostly watching Netflix and Amazon. But recently I wanted to watch the NCAA basketball tournament, which was only on TNT and TBS, and I don't have cable. So the easiest way to do that was to get a Roku and sign up for SlingTV for a while and it worked great. But a big benefit that I did not foresee is the ability to search across multiple services and see a comparison of the results. Before, if I was looking for a particular movie, I would first try Netflix to see if it was there, and if not found, I would then try Amazon to either watch it free (if included with Prime) or rent it if it was cheaper than my local video store. But now I just do one search on the Roku and it tells me which service has the movie and what the rental prices are for that service. Very cool!!!

Great streaming device, just missing a few things

I've had the Roku 4 for a few weeks now. Compared to all of the other options out there (I've tried them all) it is the best. It is missing volume control when NOT hooked into headphones, forcing me to use my phone as a second attached device. I have a sonos system, Chromecast works wonderfully controlling volume through hdmi. Sad to see Roku does not.

Fantastic Streaming Device

The Roku-4 performs well and responds quickly to commands. I especially like the "voice search" feature which allows one to avoid the tedious task of entering characters one-by-one by selecting them on the TV screen. I would recommend that the manufacturer include a more detailed user manual and a quick start page on each remote button. I'm still not sure which button turns the Roku-4 off. But, so far I am enjoying the Roku-4 and I'll be ready when I purchase a 4K TV.

Don't buy anything else. I have a Roku 2, Roku 3 and now a Roku 4. Best Tech devise I have ever brought. Easy to set-up & use. You can't go wrong.
