It could be better...

I don't like the nascar style remote it should allow you to program it to the services you want movies, music, tv. Voice doesn't seem to work well. The HBOnow default interface is outdated and the default news app shows to many ads. That said I like the services it connects you to and how quite it is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing, perfect for all needs

I bought this a few weeks ago and I am loving it. Able to stream everything, the mirror streaming feature has been handy as well. The Roku media player seems to be a little buggy, says it will recognize mkv but hasn't been able to for mine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features, antiquated UI

Love the features but the overall UI is pre-2007. Very disappointed in how ugly the system and apps are

I was hesitant to buy this because of the price. I don't usually purchase anything just for entertainment but wanted to have HBO Now. The Roku works great and I've had no problems with streaming. However, the remote has become non-responsive twice in less than a week. I've followed the steps and it has synced back up easily but if this continues to occur it is going to be annoying.

We already had a Roku 3 and loved it so much that we purchased the Roku 4, with all of it's many upgrades and EXCELLENT QUALITY HD VIEWING FEATURES, for our 63" big screen living room TV. We use our Roku 3 on our bedroom TV. We couldn't be happier with taking back HIGH QUALITY HD TV from our former cable company with the only cost being the purchase price of our Roku 4. Worth every penny!!
