I love how the picture looks and so fast to connect. Cut the cable and discovery a new way to view television.

The console looks nice, and I love that I can plug headphones in to listen. It's a great way to save some money and it gets you all the necessary entertainment.

Disappointed

The remote control stopped working in less than a week. Changed out the batteries to no avail. I've had a Roku 3 for over a year and just moved it upstairs. Never had a problem with the remote. I really like the remote on the 4 because it has buttons for shortcuts like Amazon and Sling. I sent an email to tech support and hopefully they are willing to send me a new remote. I will be happy to send this one back so hopefully they can understand what is wrong. I have a TV capable of 1080P but the Roku 4 would only default to 720P. I plan on purchasing a 4K TV next year hopefully it will allow me to use the 4K setting. I will be glad to go back and write another review depending on the outcome of the customer support I receive resolving these issues.

Roku 4 Ultra Fast Streaming!

My Roku 2 unit has been working fine for 2+ years. But occasionally it would take a while to load and had slow scrolling of the other channels.
I purchased the new Roku 4 last week and let me tel you there is no delay in fast channel searching r getting where you want to go. The playback is immediate and has not been interupted by losing the feed for a few seconds or so that the older Roku units had at times. I completely happy. It is fast! Go Roku!

We purchased our roku 4 less than a month ago. At first it was working great except for being a pain when we tried to use hulu. It would take a long time to retrieve episodes of shows. We'd have to go into it and out of it multiple times to get it to play. Then about a week after we had it it started acting up pretty badly. It would not connect to our internet and we still continue to have problems with it not connecting. It also frequently will not turn on without having to reset it or unplug it and plug it back in. It's just proving to be way more work than its worth for us.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was very satisfied with the overall ease of setting up and using the Roku 4. I have a different system for my other TV and it has to be shut down and rebooted all the time just to watch a movie. I am very happy with my Roku.
