We looked into how to save money while still enjoying family movies. The Roku was mentioned many times so we decided to see what all the hype was about. Our family absolutely loves it! Bye bye expensive cable!

After owning the Roku3 for few years now & trying to get my 2 blue ray players to connect to Netflix or one of the other services like Hulu I found them be very slow in connections so I needed another Roku streamer & bought the Roku4 setup of this this player was little on slow side maybe because of all other connections on my router and I contacted chat support and they confirmed this. 2nd thing I notice was when I click on Netflix the playback loaded a little slower & again I am assuming it because of all the other connections on my router? 3rd I also notice video quality even at 1080I is a little fuzzy and not as sharp as it should be and also tried it the other video settings on Roku. I went to my TV setup and adjusted my video to vivid output & it ok but still picture clarity is not as good as it could be. But I can live with it & may end up buying 4kHD later in year.

I have the Roku 2, Roku 3, and now the Roku 4. I was looking for a new Roku and was hesitant on getting the 3 which was awesome, or upgrading to the 4 the newest version. I decided to go with the 4 for 2 reasons. One, the remote finder because my 1 year old son likes to hide it, and two because of the 4k option down the line. I have had zero issues with it and am very happy with my decision.

I bought this three days ago and I'm really glad I did. Now I don't have the need for an additional cable box for my second TV which would have cost me almost $14 per month.
