nice product, very easy to use

i like it but the 4k appears to work only on 4k tv's
and the remote needs to have power button
also the connection is a but slow due to a higher data been use on different apps with 1080p quality
I will definately recomend this product

I own two Roku 3s and two Roku 4s. I have yet to find a streaming device with better sound, picture, or user interface.

I only had my Roku 4 one week but so far its cool. Pro's 1.) Lots of channels. 2.) The ability to chose from available channels. 3.) Nice User Interface. 4.) Easy connect and fast interface. 5.) Speaking into remote locator along with private headphone listening. Conn's 1.) Must continue sing up first time use for many channels separately. It should be a storage location that all channels could share that same information requested like your email, cable company subscription info if any(HBO, Showtime, whoever need that same info) in a storage location on the Roku that all requested can share. This would make that process less time consuming more convenient and less redundant. 2.) The ability to delete channels that's no longer available from that channel icon. 3.) A unfreeze button - my device got stuck on the 4K channel and I couldn't go back to main pages. 4.) like the cable boxes, If I had 2 or 4 Roku devices I would like the ability to Connect them, example if I'm watching a movie and pause in one room, continue from that Roku box location in another room. Those features would be greatly appreciated and would separate Roku from all of the rest. Thanks for your requested inquiry.

The options for 4K is much more than expected. I also appreciate the fact that, with the Roku account, upgrading is very easy. Almost all of my channel from my Roku 3 transferred automatically to the 4.

Great Picture But ...

Got a new 4k TV and a Roku 4 to go with it. Great picture! However, Netflix app is sometimes unreadable and have to reboot unit to correct it. Picture sometimes jumps around - this applies to all media that streams through the unit. Finally, the headset jack on the handset goes dead sometimes requiring you to take the batteries out of the unit and then put them back in. I attribute everything but the last to bugs in the new technology. Hope they get this worked out.

The Roku 4 should be made so that you do not need a hdcp 2.2 port in able to get hd picture on your tv. I brought a Vizio 4K tv and during set up of the player I wanted to select the 4K choice for picture but could not for that reason but besides that it is a very great player
