After three days of using it I gave up. Despite having high speed wireless router it takes a while to load and many times it does not seem to be loading even when it says its loading. Perhaps a great product but too early in development stage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have an older model on another TV, which works fine. This never model has a few more features which I like, especially the newer user friendly format.

Freedom from high tv charges

I bought this to get away from I bought this to get away from paying the high digital and cable fees that many companies charge. It was easy to set up and now I'm still learning to maneuver the apps within the Roku 4. I do wish there was a bit more free TV but again I'm still looking at the apps so I'm hoping to find more free since that is why I purchased this. At this point I have to say I'm happy with my purchase.

Best content and hardware in a streaming device

The Roku interface works well and their App Store has everything (except Apple/iTunes). There is so much more content available here compared to Apple TV or Android TV. Having compared all three, Roku is a keeper.

Upgraded to Roku 4 when we added 55" LG 4K 3D OLED system. Cutting edge. MLB broadcasts at 4K are absolutely beautiful. Association with Netflix really works for 4K.
