Perfect for Netflix 4k content for those with a 4k TV. Content shows in menu when this player is used. Does not show in other models without 4k output

Its fast. But it heats up to much. It keeps restarting on its own. The remote sometimes dont work, so i have to remove the batteries. All in one week. I think its better to get the roku 3

I am purchasing a house soon and am thinking about cutting the cord from cable. Purchased the Roku to test that idea. I've had Amazon Prime for a year but never used ut on my TV until now. Free 30 day trial of Netfliks and Amazon Prime make me very pleased with the test. Trying to figure out if I can live with reduced sports coverage.

Really love the quality and versatility. What bothers me is the brand-named buttons on the remote. One is Rdio, which I can't use even if I wanted to because they are out of business.. So this Roku I bought only ~72 hours ago has this out-of-date, depressing icon on the remote. If I could replace the remote, I'd fill in the other stars.
Also, it goes to sleep and doesn't come out unless I reset the power.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was watching HD TV and channels on my 4K TV. Now with the Roku 4 I can watch some shows in amazon prime, Netflix and YouTube in 4K plus the other channels seem to upscale to a better resolution. The clarity & resolution are amazing!
