item (s) work fine except for fan noise. I have fan noise in all 3 Roku 4's I own.

Great Connectivity

We were having connectivity issues with Sling TV using our Chromecast. It was regularly "stalling" and "buffering". Interestingly enough, the Chromecast was working beautifiully with Netflex, but not with Sling TV. After researching the subject on the internet and talking to several Millennials who are more up on this than this Baby Boomer, we decided to spend the extra money to get it right. It is a beutiful thing to be able to watch a game on ESPN and not have it stall out in the middle of a three point shot. Another plus is that the on screen controls are much simpler to use than making your program selections on an iPad and then casting them to the HDTV. Just wish we had done it sooner. It is well worth the additional cost.

Works great but overheats too much

I just bought my second Roku 4 as the first one gets too hot and shuts off all the time. I hope this one does better but I did purchase a cooling fan for it and so far seems to be working. I raised the first one up on open cage to let more air around the unit but still it got too hot so now I will try this with a cooling fan beneath the newer Roku 4.

Dependable - Great Product

I purchased 2 Roku 4's over the last 2 months. Both play my programs quickly and easily. I use with my cable subscription to watch channels and my favorite programs. For the most part, it eliminates the need for a DVR.

I have owned and used the Roku 2 and was satisfied with the product so I upgraded to the Roku 4 and found it to be a outstanding product.
It is easy to install and use.

I purchased this about a week ago. I am happy with it so far, the channels are better than cable and even U-Verse TV. The only thing I wish that it had was an ON button. I have to get up to plug it in every time I use it.
