I purchased the Roku4 about a month ago. For financial reasons, I had only the Basic Cable channels and paid a high price for such limited entertainment as far as I was concerned.
My purchase of the Roku4 solved ALL my problems. Being a "Geezer" (age 78) and not electronically a "geek" I was delighted to find that the Roku 4 was exceptionally user-friendly and enabled me to install the Roku4, and get Neflix set up easily.
Fortunately I already had Amazon Prime, so the TV shows, documentaries and movies that I can see are significantly expanded from what I could watch on Cable.
In addition, I pay less than half the price that it cost me for only Basic Cable.

I am ecstatically happy with my purchase of Roku4!!!

Super product with great easy features

I purchased this product about 3 months ago. I was originally looking at the Roku 3 when I noticed that the Roku 4 space was empty, but said "ask assistant". I checked and they were in stock, but locked up because they were being stolen. So I figured this was a great product. found it simple to use, very easy to set up and enjoy quality produced by this product. No problems and very pleased I purchased it.

I got the Roku 4 to replace my much older Roku 2 XS as the Time Warner app kept nagging me "Your Roku is old as dirt, get a newer faster one to run this app", the Roku 2XS was struggling and constantly rebooting, freezing, sneezing, etc. The new Roku 4 runs the Time Warner app much better, to date I don't think it has froze up while watching Time Warner, however there have been a couple times when I turned the TV on and the Roku was not responding and the screen saver was not working, and I had to reboot it, and it seemed warm to the touch, I really think you guys need some sort of system where it can power itself down if not in use, so it does not lock up being on all the time.

I love the new Roku 4 from the performance all the way to the interface. I, however, do not know why a company would make an agreement with another company to place a short cut button on the remote. Roku's remote does not have a lot of room for features. They make an agreement with some company, make remotes with a button for that channel and then they go out of business. I end up with a remote with a useless button that can not be re-programmed. Does not make any sense to me

Not sure what issues others have? I've not had any. I have 3&4 models and I'm happy with both. I purchased when I decided to cut the cable tired of payiny ridiculous cable bills with the Roku's have never looked back. I have two Samsung TVs. one plasma one LCD Roku provides great pictures on both sets. I think what a lot of people don't realize or maybe they do performance is based on your actual Internet speed and it must be high as it is running on Wifi to provide quality viewing

Best Roku Yet!

I really like my new Roku 4. It is extremely fast compared to my Roku 3 and after setting up to my account, it automatically downloads all of my apps so you do not have to go through the whole process again of setting up each additional app.
