My fiance bought this for me about a month ago. I absolutely love it, a easy way for me to watch my shows better than cable tv. I simply love it !

Great Picture - Easy To Use

We cut our cable contract last month, and went with an HD antenna. In addition, I had both an AppleTV and a Roku4 that I connected. The Roku was brand new, the AppleTV I'd had for awhile.. I have to say that the AppleTV never gets used anymore, and the HD Antenna just barely. We use the Roku on a daily basis. The sheer number of programming options, the speed and the picture quality ALL exceed those of the Apple. Then, when I connected my 1TB remote drive with our movie collection on it, the Roku quickly and easily gave us immediate access to those movies as well!
Excellent product - Excellent performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Makes a smart TV seem a bit dumb!

This is our 3rd Roku player and far and away the best and easiest to hook-up. We have stick and a Roku 3 up at our lake house and hooked up a Slingbox to watch our cable from home. Now we use the Roku 4 at home to "Sling" our recorded shows from the cable DVR. However, I find that we are increasingly watching more of the Roku shows from the countless apps (Netflix, Amazon, etc.). We aslo have 4 different "smart" blue ray players and 1 smart TV. The best of these are the Sony TV and Blu-Ray player but the actually make them look a bit dumb!

Works much better than Apple TV

Works great, best part is it works much better than my apple tv or Amazon Stick, which constantly buffered, this unit does not buffer.

roku 4 is the best one yet, and i've had every type of roku (and atv) since launch. roku 4 blows the atv4 out of the water. it has better functionality, more intuitive, faster and easier to use. you dont need anything else hooked up to your tv other than a roku 4!!!
