User friendly and the 4 K graphics are amazing.

I bought my roku 4 about a week ago and I am really impressed on the product. It is user friendly and if you have a TV that displays 4 K it is amazing. I would suggest this product to anyone. I don't think I'll need cable again because it offers so many other apps for you to watch.

Fast, searchable content, most stations

This is the 3rd Roku I have purchased. Each gets better and more powerful. I mainly use it because I can get BYU TV and a few other channels--so having a wide selection was my first choice. It is easy to navigate and fast.

Unusable for 4k

We purchased one of these to compliment a new 55" 4k Sony TV. We had lots of success with the Roku 3 + high end 1080p TV. We had the opposite experience with the Roku 4 + 4k. We have had several now and each one has the same problems no matter what device we hook it to or where we place it. The device fan runs constantly, at a roaring level even compared to our 400W sound bar. The device can only stream 4k content for a few minutes before locking up and rebooting. Our Roku 4 sits on top of a wood cabinet, free from any obstructions to airflow. We also added a shop fan blowing directly on the devices just to see if it helps. Also, our Nest thermostat situated < 10 feet away shows a room temperature of 68 F. The nest is not in direct sunlight, and if it was we have had heavy snow and overcast skies most of the time we tried the Roku 4. Laser thermometer on the housing of the Roku indicated a case temp of < 90 F when the device was locked up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not compatible with Bluetooth Keyboards

I like the availability of offerings and the setup went smoothly, but the process of entering text using the remote to navigate through the on screen keyboard, selecting one character at a time is painfully slow and frustrating. Almost seems like something from the 1970s. The ROKU needs to be made universally compatible with ANY Bluetooth keyboard & mouse! The lack of this capability is a huge drawback and in my opinion a gross oversight on the part of the ROKU design team.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy setup and use

I bought this device to solve the problem of my internet choosing when to connect to services like Netflix and Hulu. It has solved the problem and was very easy to set up and start using
