Features are better then all others, still a WIP

because of overheating it quit and Roku had to replace the Roku-4, but it's the only streaming box that produces true 4K HDR video. This alone is a reason to buy it, just keep it out in the open so it can cool down.

VERY GOOD BUT WITH ISSUES

This is my third ROKU. It is by far is the best of streaming devices (I've had Amazon and Apple also).
This version touts it's ability to bring in 4K streaming to 4K TV's. VUDU just recently started streaming 4K movies but this ROKU 4 would not bring in a 4K picture despite my SETTINGS being verified twice on both the TV and ROKU. My new Sony TV is compliant 2.2 HDCP for 4K TV.
The unit runs HOT. It also has no ON/OFF button so you must manually unplug it if you want it in the off position.
It's ultra fast with its quad-core processor. The remote is fair. Navigation is excellent and you'll master it with ease.
Still, it is by far the best of all the streaming devices.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very pleased with the performance of my new Roku 4. Does everything it's supposed to without a hitch. I did have a slight issue during setup and it may help someone else who encounters a similar problem if I elaborate. During the setup process, at the point where the device is supposed to select your television's resolution automatically, my roku selected 720p even though my set is definitely rated at 1080p. When I manually selected 1080p I momentarily saw the dialog for accepting the change, before the screen went blank for a few seconds, after which another screen appeared saying words to the effect of "since you didn't accept the new setting your device will continue to use 720p". Well I simply could not click fast enough to OK the setting before the dialog disappeared. Same results over and over again until I had the foresight to remember how many clicks were required to get down to the "Accept changes?" box and did it during the blank screen episode. After a couple of tries I was successful.
I've had no further troubles however, and I am extremely pleased. Works perfectly as advertised. Great product!!

I like the quality but have an issue with having to reset the HDMI connect to TV by pulling it out and plugging it back in every time I want to watch it.

faster some but not better unless you own a 4k tv

got it when it first came out. has nice features remote finder power off after 30 min of no use picture is great loading id faster my only complaint is fast forwarding. it sticks
and you need to get back out then restart movie i had no problem with the 3 fast forwarding and rewinding

Lots of entertainment

This is really simple to setup, there's a lot of entertainment inside, takes a little time to open up all the different features inside but all-in-all once it got going and working it was so simple easy and we can find what we want, a great little device
