More advanced, better HD, but...

This definitely has much better HD quality viewing, The only issues I've been having is when I turn my TV off and not use it for a period of time, like an hour or overnight, the Roku seems to shut off and it takes like 5-10 minutes to turn on. I have turned off the auto shut off function and it still does the same thing. I've read where other people have had similar issues. Also, the volume level on the different streaming services is all over the place. On one channel I can have my volume at 10 and on another like HBONOW it has to be set at 100 to get the same volume as the other channel that I set on 10.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My 3 year old Roku 3 died in a major lightening stike and was replaced with Roku 4.
The experience is vastly improved with much faster processing and speed.
I was concerned about the reported "noise" but mine is inaudible, even when I tried hard to listen for it in a quiet room from about 3 feet away!

Enjoy streaming movies and catching up on shows. I would suggest a volume button on the remote.

I miss the braided strap on the remote like my Roku 3. It make finding and lugging around the remote so much easier.

Replaced a Roku 3 with the Roku 4 and 4K is Great! Unit is faster than its predecessor.
