Following purchase of an ultra high definition television monitor I wondered how I would get U4K programming on the screen. Roku 4 is the answer. Using the special HDMI port for U4K programming, Roku helps bring together available content for display on the screen. The special bonus is a remote that includes ear buds for private listening...and volume control. I already use to Roku streaming sticks, both at lower levels of resolution. The Roku 4 brings on the next resolution generation.

OK device

I have had this device for a few weeks now. I own 2 other Roku 3's. So far the 3 is better than the 4. The biggest problem is that the 4 does not turn back on as it should after being shut down. I personally think the 3 is faster and has less of a lag compared to the. 4. I'm not saying that the 4 is a bad device, just that for the money you would get more from a 3.

Made it easy to cut Dish

We have not missed our Dish at all. So happy to not have the huge bill and be able to watch the shows we want rather than what's on at the time.

I upgraded from a first gen Roku, and this one is lightning fast compared to the old one.
I wish it had airplay.

We bought two of these players when we cut the cord and got away from cable. The roku4 runs so smooth it has opened up a new world of entertainment options for us.
