I bought it 3 weeks ago for my Sony TV 55XBR900A ( (4K) . Cannot get 4K programming.

Slower than roku 3?

I have two roku 3's and one roku4. Love the concept and the 3's...but the roku4 is much slower than the 3 and freezes, amazon app won't open anymore buy the roku 3's work fine. Maybe software update would fix, but not one available now.

Best option

I purchased this because only option for any kind of cable tv was satellite tv. After looking at all the packages that are offered I realized 90% of channels I would not be watching. So I got my Roku to be able to get sling. I am very impressed. Now I get local channels from over the air antenna and cable stations I will watch with very few I won't at a price that's a 1/5 of a regular cable bill. If you are big into sports you can as a sports channel package or life style or even kids package for little extra. Then to be able to stream YouTube videos to tv and all movie apps it is all you would need. I was Only able to get 10 megabytes of Internet service but have had no issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had the unit for a few weeks now and it is working great. Having the USB port is nice and I have attached a 1TB external USB Hard drive to hold our various personal songs and videos for ease of playback.
I would recommend this to a friend!
