I've had to restart it EVERY time I've used it, and immediately upon using it after it's not been used for awhile. Not sure why, it's the same reaction I get on Roku3 when Netflix and youtube don't properly close down (along with god knows what else because I can't manually force close apps without a full restart). Overall I'd say it's barely acceptable, because even though I'm forced to waste time restarting, it still works once I do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Glad I purchased this! I had purchased my first 4K TV, however the apps were very limited and not of good quality. Since I installed the Roku 4 I have a wide selection of apps available. I love the upgrading of the signal! Even non UHD programs are crystal clear. I also like the option of direct wire with this system. I do not worry about wireless drops and drags.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have purchase more than 8 Roku's over the years. I started with the Roku one and move all the way up to the Roku 4. I have tried the competitions version and they are all inferior to Roku. No matter what Roku is still the best streamer on the market and the Roku 4 number 1. I do think it would be awesome if you could program the easy access buttons to the channels you want. I love my Rokus, Thanks

Have enjoyed it thus far; I split my time between two locations and have Rokus at both. The stick has worked fine, the Roku 3 has some issues, this Roku 4 has worked fine thus far though it gets awfully hot.

Love the voice search

I have the Roku stick, Roku 2, Roku 3 and now the Roku 4. The four is great and I love the voice search. It has all the great apps, is faster, and the find remote feature is also good. One small issue, the Roku 4 keeps dropping the remote and I have to reboot the device to get it to recognizing the remote. Roku says they are working on it and I hope they get it fixed soon.
