Some things awesome

I bought a Roku 4 about a month ago. Since that time I've noticed some differences between the 4 and the 3. The quad core processor is fast. Some apps like Netflix load super fast when compared to the Roku3. Though, I am having issues with the YouTube app not noticing the remote while a video is playing. I've even had the Roku4 restart because the YouTube app locked up when I tried to pause or search through other videos while a video is playing. The Roku3 never experienced those issues. Other than that issue its great. I already have a Roku3. I had hoped the setup with the Roku4 would have been easy. Sure , the Roku4 loaded all the apps that were on the Roku3. I was just hoping the apps would have registered themselves!

I bought this about a month ago and love it. Set up involved calling the help line to change the settings on my router. Once that was done it has worked effortlessly.

I have had it for a few weeks and I am impressed. My Roku 2 died and glad it did.
Quality is so much better and it moves from one to the other like lightning!

Snappy new Roku

I bought this new Roku 4 and the picture quality has improved and more channels and options and my favorite channels are just a button push. Although i have the dumbest cable service the old Roku had drop outs but no dropouts with Roku 4 and just smooth TV . and it almoset installed its self.

I've had the new roku the for just under a month and it's amazing. Already owning the roku 3 and a few other roku sticks, I opted to upgrade to the new box in tandem with a new 65" 4k tv and the experience has been mind blowing. It's even more smooth and easy to navigate. Compared to other streaming devices I've used, roku is simply the best. Most smooth interface, never lags, easy to navigate and easily has the best variety and options for streaming channels.

Mixed feelings

I bought the Roku mainly to watch content downloaded off the internet. I have been happy with my WD TV. Recently though, there is a new format that the WD TV does not support. (x265). I bought Roku 4 when I realized it plays this new format. It fulfills this need. Thank you. My first disappointment was with OTHER simple formats that it DOES NOT play!. C'mon xVID? There are many std formats this device does not play. Another thing: How do I turn this thing on and off? THERE IS NO POWER BUTTON ON THE UNIT OR ON THE REMOTE.
