I had the roku 3 it worked great I lost the remote so I thought I would upgrade and buy the roku 4 it worked 2 days and quit so I am using the roku 3 again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is great for personal media files, I live in bad area so my internet is no good for streaming to much. I have seen them stream and it is great.

We had a beloved Roku 3, but wanted an additional one in our new home. Now we can watch Acorn and Netflix, among others, in two places!

Terrific Little Machine = Best Technology

I have an older version of the Roku and about a month ago it died. Actually it just needed a new battery, but that gave me the excuse to buy a new one and I went for the Roku 4. Absolutely glad I did. The Roku 4 has a great menu feed and the remote is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to work and powerful! My old one I would just keep clicking the button on the remote and nothing would happen. Not an issue with the Roku 4, I have watched more streaming in the last few weeks than in the last year.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased the Roku a few weeks ago and I'm still learning new things about it.
There are a lot of selections you can make as far as setting up your own menu.
I did however have to increase my router speed in order to enjoy the movies offered.
