Recently I upgraded to a Roku 4 after my purchase of an Ultra HD TV and I noticed at once that I was getting a better speed rate with my WIFI connection. This alone was worth the upgrade.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been a Roku customer for about 6 months. Today I tried to add in HBO on my account. I got an error " Invalid US Address" on credit card. However, 2 other Roku vendors (HULU & Amazon) had no trouble with my address on that same card, which is on file with my account information. I had to call "RokuCare" to get anyone to communicate with me at all. The online Chat option is clearly ignored by Roku. The nice person from some other country who tried to assist me, was unable to unlock my billing information or even point out the HBO offending portion of the address that differs from the address requirements of other vendors. I was passed off to the "concern" department. I have heard nothing from them. I might have to go back to Comcast. Roku clearly has not grown up enough to replace

I have a Roku on every TV I own. My roku 2 froze up, and though i only had to reset it to get it to work...I used it as an excuse to get the new upgraded version. Totally love it.

I love the sound out port. but the roku 4 functions quirky and it cant be fixed with a reboot and I guess I just have to live with a substandard product cause that seems to be the way large companies roll today.

Upgraded to the Roku 4 and was delighted in the picture quality. But, the remote sucks! We have tried everything to get to work. Our phone remotes work fine and we must use them to work our Roku.

A very good picture when it works

The Roku 4 has a real problem. Ordered unit on June 25 directly from Roku. On July 23 it started flashing on and off on Home and all channels. Went to Chat with Roku and they told me to press reset. That worked. Two weeks later it happened again. I disconnected the Roku 4. I tried the Roku 4 again a few days later and it worked but I had to re-initialize everything - the Roku and all channels. It happened again two days ago. I waited a day to call Tech Support. By that time it worked again (again needed full re-initialization). Tech support was absolutely useless. He said that when it happens again I should try it on another TV, try it with another electrical plug, etc.
But, I noticed the unit was hot when it failed. There is a setting in "Settings" > "System" to turn on the fan.(I found on my own. Tech Support did not seem to know it was there.) I asked the tech if that could be the problem. He said no. So, he gave me no possible solution but I think I figured it out on my own. They should have told me the first time about the fan. We will see if it works.
