Easy to connect, love the features.

Just connected my new Roku 4 last weekend. Love the voice command feature. I'm not particularly tech-savvy, but the on-screen set-up was fast and really fairly intuitive. Now I'm addicted to streaming.

SlingTV Stinks

I am a recent cord cutter. I purchased the Roku 4 specifically for the upgraded CPU\RAM which I thought would create a richer streaming experience. Netflix, Amazon and Vudu work fine - thank you. The main platform I wanted is SlingTV and it absolutely stinks. Blogs suggest that the app was written for Roku 3. I am willing to wait, I wish I had known that before I purchased it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome Device!!

I just bought this approximately a month ago and have enjoyed it immensely. My husband enjoys that he doesn't have to be distracted by the tv while he's reading his books in bed, because I just plug the headphones into the remote, and go about watching my program. All over it's a win-win!! I like that when it buffers, which isn't alot, it usually does so when there would be a commercial break and doesn't interfere with the program I'm viewing. I also love that I can watch my favorite cable channels on it without buying a separate cable box.

I love it. I do have roku 2 in my room and now I have roku 4 for living room. I love it! I bought one for my baby sister's christmas which she love it too!

Great Streaming Box for everything you need you cut the Cable cord and has a ton of of 4K resources too! Love it.

The latest and greatest, but...

Bought the Roku 4 as an upgrade to my Roku 3. Generally pleased, though I do not yet have a 4K television so I can not fully take advantage of the main new feature. The improved WIFI radio is nice though I always use the box hardwired to ethernet. My only significant disappointment is the remote control features 4 extra channel buttons that are not programmable, and one of them is locked to RDIO which no longer works. So in addition to cluttering up the remote with buttons to accidentally hit and take you out of the current programming, you cant even program them to services you use. The voice search is ok, but also disappointing in that you can not use the microphone to do a YouTube search or within any other channel, only for the main Roku general search.

I have two Roku 3s and a Roku stick. The new Roku 4 continues the tradition of awesomeness. I can't wait to get my UHD tv!
