Cheaper than Renting a Second Cable Box

I save money by using this product for my second TV instead of renting a second cable box from my cable company. It will pay for itself in about 8 months. It is not as fast as a cable box when changing channels, as there is a few seconds wait time for the new channel to load, however that could be because my second TV is 9 years old. Overall I highly recommend the product

So Easy to Use

I love how easy it is to use! I have direct access to my favorite apps. Also, having small children, we tend to lose remotes and the roku has a remote finder!

Pretty good but not great...

I bought one of these a few months ago, and I have already had to have it replaced. It kept going back to the default setup screen after entering all the information needed to use certain apps (ESPN, Sling, etc.) I hope this second one works out better...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the job

Bought this a few weeks ago. It does the job, but the unit does get really warm even with the cooler temp feature. Also, you can turn the unit off, but it takes quite a few steps which is a little bit of a pain. Wish there was a way to turn the unit on with the remote. I've figured out that you can turn the unit on by pressing the remote-finder button on top of the unit, but sometimes that doesn't work and i have to unplug the unit and plug it back in again to turn it on.
Now the things I really like about the Roku 4: I love that the remote has buttons for Netflix and Sling TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product!

I have had previous model Rokus in the past and I bought this one to replace my Roku 3 that was damaged in a house fire. I went with this one because of the UHD 4K support as I am getting a 4K TV. Unfortunately, that TV hasn't arrived yet, so I have not been able to try out any of the 4K content.

Great all purpose media player

Bought this for my daughter, she loves the headphone jack on the remote. Adding channels is simple and being able to play my own media via a usb stick makes this box perfect.
