My Roku 2 had Angry Birds games on it, so I wrongly assumed that the Roku 4 would also have the games. It does not!! Very upset about that...and no mention of that fact in Roku advertising.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The sound is better the picture is better and easy to install, I also have the Roku 3 and the Roku 4 is much better.

EZ Setup!

I have been useing Roku's since Roku 1.. They just keep getting Better!
Easier to setup and always more features! I Like my Roku 4 it now Provides My 4k TV with many more Movies and clips! Excellent Picture! I also like the find My remote feature and the private headset feature.. I am 65 and had no Problems setting up this unit. With Apps Like Sling and Netflics and Feeln! and Playon
I am free of the Dish! This is Ala carte the way I always wanted it.. I can now watch what I want and not get the excess Fat for a much cheaper Price!

The picture is amazing, the ease of usability is great and the speak search rocks! I cancelled my expensive cable... no need for it anymore!

Just OK so far

I would have liked some basic instructions on how to access Roku included in the packaging instead of me having to go online and figure out how to make the product work.
The free trial for Amazon Prime wasn't free. The link and sign up process signed me up for 1 yr of AP which I was not expecting.
The Daily Burn 30 day free trial requires an activation code but I have no idea what that code should be or where to find it.
The first movie I watched on HBO Now stopped 20 minutes in, I got a screen that said the download was in process please wait. I had to try a few things but got the movie to start again. This also happened on another show I watched.

Excellent Alternative to Cable

Was tired of over paying for cable, decided to give Roku a try, already had subscriptions to Hulu and Netflix, and I am very satisfied. Roku will connect you to a very large number of additional free sources that you will actually enjoy rather than hundreds of cable channels you pay for but never view. Cut the cable.

Comparing to 3rd generation Apple TV....no comparison! I bought this truly for the 4K feature. I will be replacing all the other smart boxes I own with Roku 4 even though the other TV's are not 4K.
