Roku 4 Best Yet

The Roku 4 is the best of the bunch so far and I've owned all of them. The standard picture is brilliant and when you see the 4K you will be in awe. The Roku 4 is easy to use, and simple to teach on setup, albeit a bit time consuming. I highly recommend the Roku 4, and you don't need a 4K TV to appreciate its many charms. I have two of them, one on my 4K and one on my 1080P and I couldn't be happier.

Great HD TV

Overall the picture quality is excellent no buffering while watching most apps exception is Sling TV which is always buffering. Football and sports apps are great no buffering problems and great picture quality. Just wish it had a on and off switch to make sure that it is not still streaming using data while tv is off.

I got a streaming stick for Christmas and liked it so much that I got online and educated myself on the Roku products and decided to get a Roku4. I like it even more. The "find remote" feature is handy as well as the verbal search feature. So far I give it a 4+ out of 5 !! If pressed for something negative I'd say battery life in the Roku4 could be better but heck, what's a couple of AA's compared to all this entertainment.

I love Roku like I love my dog.
I love Roku like I love my wine, cheese, chocolate.
I CUT my cable company. ...HEck yeah.
I was a wee bit reserved BUT am a believer lol.
With the HD antenna i get local channels.
With Roku I get hulu, Netflix etc.
Yes the cord is cut and Roku made me confident that my life will go on!!!!

4k display mode has issues

This device is not ready for prime time. The 4k display mode does not display proper color rendition. There is a distinct red push in skin-tones and the compression being used results in a very grainy image.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would like to say I am excited about the Roku4. I bought the device after being very pleased and having great success with the Roku3 4200x. The problem is this... Each time I go to use the device, it seems to be locked up and wont start. Each time. I have to unplug the device and then I can proceed. Why? Not pleased.

Roku 4 = Super Fast

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and indirectly for me :) ... but i wasn't sure if it would stream properly because she only has 1.5 Mbps and it kept stopping when i tried to stream on my PlayStation 4. But i was pleasantly surprised that we have no issues streaming using the Roku 4.

Recently purchased a Roku 4 because of it's UHD capabilities. I was a bit worried at first when I read of the troubles others have had with fan noise. I have had no problems with mine and find it to be faster than the Roku 3 I already have.
