Decent player

I'm enjoying the roku 4, just a few things I don't like. Forcing a credit card to be input upon making an account, and limited media player format support. Yes the most popular ones (h264) is supported but my vast collection of wmv's are not. In addition I don't like the format of the media player, I'd rather have a large listing rather than groups of 50. Seems more cumbersome than need be. However, screen mirroring is awesome!

Poor support of video files

Thinking about returning unit, as AVI, and many other video file types are not supported. Web browser very poor, lack of flexibility

Great Tool for Cutting the Cable

We just bought a flat screen TV for the first time replacing a 25 year old set that we only used to access Netflix. We did not want to use cable or satellite reception, and ROKU is a great tool to be able to do that. Combined with an indoor Mohu Leaf antenna, we are able to access most of the content that we want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Frequent freezing

First thing out of the box this thing started to freeze up. It took days for it to work correctly.

Lip Sync issues with the Roku 4

I will be returning my Roku 4 because of lip sync issues. The spoken dialog is out of sync with the video. This was not the case with my Roku 3. I have a three Ruku boxes. Only the Roku4 has this problem.

Very Disappointed

I have two major issues with this product. First, the remote constantly loses pairing. It will work fine one minute and then not work at all the next. Second, when using the setting to power down the Roku after 30 minutes, the remote or app cannot wake up the device. I have to use the find remote button on the Roku box itself. I contacted the Roku support and was told that to wake up the device I have to unplug it from the wall and plug it back in. Who would design a product that couldn't be woken up without unplugging it from the wall and plugging it back in? I am very disappointed in Roku and will be replacing it with a superior product.
