Bought about 2 weeks ago, for me it gives me the movie channels we need, and enough sport. Got my local free Chanel's, who needs cable or Direct tv

Great promise but short on delivery

Bought it couple of months back, While it does what it promised but irregularly, there are times when remote loses control.many application are not Working Only good thing is that plex work smoothly

Slow

I have a Roku 3 on my other TV. I bought this for the family room. Took several times to connect to Internet, when it finally did, the icons would not come up. Reset several times, factory reset twice, still wouldn't work. The unit became very warm while turned on. Returned it, greatly disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good speed but missing main feature for me.

Very disappointed in the lack of proper slingplayer support that my amazon fire tv has. It has a native app whereas with the Roku I have to do this silly handoff thing. I don't understand why there is not a native app. Very disappointed and will be returning as this is the main reason I purchased this. It's a bit faster than my fire tv but nothing special.

Came with dead batteries otherwise great needs to indicate where voice search is located up front found it by trial error R4

Faster for me than the Roku 3 which I have connected on another TV with Ethernet. I had been using an Xbox for streaming on our main TV and it kept lagging/freezing. The Roku 4 is faster some how running wireless over the wired Roku 3. Not sure how it's possible but it is.

Many enhancement, severe audio issues

I got one in December and while it represents a big leap forward in terms of speed, performance, and user experience over the basic HD model, I am now on my 2nd Roku 4 and each one has had the same audio issue: audio simply drops out for 5-10 seconds at a time repeatedly no matter what channel I'm streaming. Roku support is trying to help me, but so far I have to conclude that the 4 is simply severely buggy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
