Was disappointed to discover that Roku was not fully compatible with Harmony remote. We still have to have our hands full of remotes. Roku needs to upgrade software.

got this three days ago and have intermittent problems with the picture breaking up in lower third of pic with vivid green, with red horizontal bars.

I just swapped out my Roku XS for a Roku 4K Ultra. I connect directly to a Vizio SV470XVT1A TV via HDMI. I switch to the correct HDMI input on my TV and 9 out of 10 times I have to unplug power from the Roku 4 to get a signal. This is daily occurrence and very frustrating to me and my family. I have auto power off disabled, it is in a well ventilated area and NOT top of another device. I have replaced the HDMI cable, tried a different HDMI input and I have the same problem. I never had this problem with my old Roku XS. My Roku has Software version 7 running build 8863.
2 different support people suggested a Factory Reset. I did that with the same results. In addition, tried it on a newer TV. Same Problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Voice commands is nive

This is my third Roku unit that I have in use. The option of voice commands is nice. What I have found is that it takes longer to wake up without any indication what it is doing. I am an inpatient person, and for being new and improved, this unit should be up and running when you touch the remote.

SO FAR SO GOOD

I just bought this as a first time "cut the corder". It installed easily and is currently running Netflix as I look into other applications. I am concerned about having to leave it on all the time since it is warm, but others say that it is ok so time will tell.

I've had Roku 2 for couple of years and was struggling with the wi-fi connection. Roku 4 has no issues.

freezes up
