Bought this a month ago to get rid of cable tv. After a week or so the system would have to be "soft" reset in order for the main screen to appear. This happened several times. Last week wouldn't reset at all. Followed some advice from online to reset device, didn't work. Returned product for replacement. So far, so good. Jury is still out, but I love not paying that cable tv bill!!!

Another great Roku, except for one feature....

This is Roku number 4 (no pun intended) in my house. My son has a stick in his room, there's a 3 in my living room, a 3 in the game room now (formerly in my bedroom), and now a 4 in my bedroom. The 3s are wired while the stick and 4 are wireless. The 4 lives up to my expectations. I don't have a 4K TV yet, but I bought the 4 over another 3 because of the AC wifi standard. i have nothing but good to say for the 4. It's perfect....well...almost. I can't believe that there is no way to reassign the Rdio button on the remote! This is a HUGE fail on Roku's part. First of all, why is there even a Rdio button on a player I just bought last week when the service ended months ago?! Secondly, why can't they be reassigned by the end-user? I want to be able to reassigned mine so I would have Netflix, Hulu, TWC, and Vudu. C'mon Roku... Please fix this one annoyance with your otherwise perfect media streamer, my Roku 4!
One other gripe? Let me be able to make my own themes!

Great picture!

I've been using this for almost a week and I have to say, the picture is awesome! So far, better than other streaming devices and I thought those were really good too. Only reasons I gave a four instead of five is that the remote unpairs often (but Roku remote app is fantastic), no abc app (but can watch those shows on Hulu), it is a process to turn off and on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

4k streaming is excellent,easy-to-use and setup. Would recommend this to everyone with a 4K tv.

It is good but seems to go through periods of locking up. There are a lot of stations that were available that are not anymore.

This ROKU is only one week old so with limited exposure to it, it appears to work as advertized. Since I have a 4k HDTV, this Roku states that it works with this format....so far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Originally I was hesitant to buy the road before because I had seen some negative reviews online about the fans being noisy but decided to buy it anyway and my unit silent as if it did not even have a fan. I am very happy with my unit. I stream Netflix and Amazon Prime and many other TV apps with no lag. The resolution on this very nice 1080p. No regrets at all I highly recommend the roku 4. I will be leaving Comcast within the next few days and this is how I'm doing it hope this review helped
