I needed another Roku so, spent the extra money for a Roku 4, my suggestion is that the special keys, Sling and Amazon is good feature, however the ability to reconfigue the keys for other stations would be a plus.

After all my research and reading reviews, I really thought this Roku 4 would be better than it has proven. Setting up is confusing...do I have to pay for the things I received on the wifi from my dvd player? The offer of two months of Showtime is a joke, you get only get one. Then in Netflix, if you have a profile and favorites, forget it.
Then we have customer service...or is it just some off shore contractor, that you communicate by "live" typing. The problems lose a lot in translation.
We are very disappointed and regret dropping the $$$ on this.

Replaced My 3, Nice Upgrade!

Felt a little funny replacing our 3 it works great but I wanted to stay up to date with the 4K. The thing I like is that it's much faster going through the channels and going through Amazin and Netflix. The 4K is great but beware of compatibilities as this little box can only handle certain types of 4K HDMI ports.

Bought a couple months ago. Great product. Updates still come to my Roku 2, so I feel it is a great investment. Happy they continue the ethernet option. I get much more speed from my LAN connection.

Very nice update to the Roku 3

I had 2 Roku 3's and 1 Roku Stick. In preparation for any future 4K TV's, I gave my Roku Stick to my parents and added a Roku4 into my home mix. It is a noticeable improvement from the Roku 3 in terms of performance. No issues locking onto my wireless. Since I don't have 4K TV, I don't have a specific review of the higher definition and in terms of usability, it's pretty much on par with the same type of remote, same interface as the Roku3. If you are contemplating moving to a 4K TV and want to future proof your streaming options then the Roku 4 is for you.

I cancelled my satellite service and bought the Roku. I love it. There's always something to watch including movies and tv series. There tons of free channels plus you can get Netflix ,Hulu, showtime,HBO and many more a lot cheater than cable or satellite. I recommend this to everyone that don't like overpaying for cable.

While watching movies the screen flickered to the Roku color purple several times, resulting in unfavorable viewing on all levels.
