The remote does not work, the system goes in sleep mode, the only way to wake it. Is to get up and push on button. Never had any of these with my roku 3.

I have the Roku 2 and 3 on our older tvs. I questioned getting the 4 for our new tv because of many reviews about the fan being loud. I bought it about a month ago and it's been great!

Required for Amazon Prime 4K content. A larger footprint then others and runs warm on UHD content. More options in Settings. Pretty much self configured.

The best streaming device out there

Previously I used a HP notebook to stream programs to my TV through a Marantz 8802 Pre. I got a new Sony 940D 4K TV so I looked at what options were out there and discovered the Roku 4K. I looked at the channels it offered and it included Netflix and Amazon Prime which I already had subscriptions. It also had Twitv which I watch for Leo Laporte. The best thing was that I didn't have to go to my system and pull out the notebook to turn it on and then log in before I got out the Bluetooth keyboard. Now I just use my Logitech remote and select Roku and up comes the Roku guide that makes selecting programs/channels so easy. Even better was the quality of picture I get over the notebook I was using. The 4K material really makes me appreciate my new Sony TV and the HD programming is terrific too. The only negative is that I am mad at myself for not getting a Roku sooner. My experience was so good that I went and obtained another Roku 4 for my basement system and a stick version for the guest bedroom tv. All these system are feed from my wireless router and non have had any buffering issues - even when I watch 4K material.

It's okay...

Some of the features on this Roku are great. However, the product keeps glitching and popping a green bar onto the screen. It also will randomly play Pandora while you are looking through Netflix. I do not know whether this is just a glich in mine or it happens to all Roku 4s. I would give it a better review however the green bar makes it very hard to watch movies and television.

Much better upgrade!

I bought this as an upgrade to a 3 that I had. The picture quality seems to be much better and it auto detect that my TV is 1080p. I like that you can turn the fan on higher so that it does not run as hot...yes it is a little noisier but that is not a problem. The speed is very slow faster also.
