Defective Device

I recently purchased the Roku 4. Verizon is not supported so I am unable to view the cable channels I'm paying for. The Roku 4 issues that I'm having are: 1-does not allow you to watch selected items (you select a program to watch and it will play the commercials/advertisements and then NOT play the show) 2-has a mind of its own (will continually do a motion and NOT stop - looping) 3-only allows you to watch certain episodes (items have expiration dates) 4-the choice of content available seems okay until you actually go in to each of the channels - you are then required to go a website and register/get code only to find out that there is a subscription that you don't have. None of which I was informed of before I purchased. VERY UNHAPPY!! I would NOT recommend to anyone!

I'm Really Disssappointed

I got a Roku 4 at Christmas. It would occasionally overheat and then finally started overheating all the time. Recently I went and exchanged it for a new Roku 4. I've checked the settings on the new one for the fan and noted it to be "on". I'm not streaming 4k. This one is now overheating.

The device hangs

I bought this less than a month ago, ever since while playing or if I want to switch channels the device hangs. I have to disconnect it from the power socket and re start it. Have been doing it two or three times a day.

We bought this when we saw it promoted on TV as offering a way to eliminate your cable bill. I cannot believe it is being promoted in this manner.

Most evert hung you have to pay. When I was reading about it before I bought it I was going to watch all movies that are in theaters. I haven't seen a single one. The free movies that are on there are so bad never heard of them.
