Very Disappointed

I currently have a Roku 2 and was looking forward to up grading to the 4. I hooked it up and it would play for 30 seconds then would continually rebuffed. I called my IT guy and he checked the internet speed and it was ok.

Can't control volume or turn on TV!

The last thing I need is another remote to deal with. Plenty of unwanted buttons hard-coded for services that might be obsolete in a few months (a Blockbuster button? Really?) but no way to even turn on the TV!
An RF "point anywhere" remote is pointless if you still need another IR remote at the couch for volume.
I wanted Roku to boot into the Plex app, since it's where I do 90% of my viewing, but it seems like I am stuck with the clunky home screen plastered with banal promotions.
I've seen "sideclick" remotes online and it's ridiculous to me that Roku won't address this obvious need themselves. It's no great technological challenge to flash just three IR signals. Until I can turn the TV on and off and control volume with the Roku remote, I'm not interested.

First touch with Ruko 4

I am in multimedia SoC development and I collect many of STBs for the test of functionality and compatibility. The way to enable the Ruko 4 is very unique but not work well: 1. Forcing user to submit their sensitive credit card info before user can use any function, even MP4 on USB? It doesn't make sense at all. 2. The enabling process got stuck on Roku 4, waiting for confirmation from your server which I already provided the information. The whole sequence should be very robust to prevent confusing, waiting for response (>30 minutes).

Rented first movie on ultra flix. Audio went in and out the whole movie.. Wasting money is awful..Purchased roku 4 on 3-10, and retuning on 3-12
