Bought this middle of April. Have not yet downloaded pictures - am having trouble doing this. Camera is small, not heavy, takes great close ups and I hope downloading the pictures will be a good experience too. Bought this to add to my existing W220 which is also an excellent camera and easy to use, but only has 4X zoom. I like Sony products !!!
This camera is replacing the exact same model which I owned for several years. It has proven to be terrific at recording vacation memories flawlessly. I love all the features. It's idiot proof!
We were going to take a trip of a life time. We did our homework, went to National camera, asked to see a SONY point & shoot. They brought out the camera, took one look, and said yes.
I registered my product but didn't get a confirmation email. So frustrated!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I 'am an amateur photographer and I find this a very good camera for a high budget. I think the setting should offer a little bit more options, for example setting the ISO level. Over all this is a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When it can focus it takes good pics/vids... Except it all too often goes blurry & you have to fiddle with the zoom lever to get it to focus again & then again. & power it off when it requests as you can't do anything else then & maybe, maybe, it will be okay, for a while. End-up deleting half the pics/vids you shoot... unless you're into arty, blurry images...which if that's what you're after ... Better to just avoid & find a different camera.
