Touch controls fail to respond on most occasions. Less than six months old, wondering how it will hold up through more use?

I WISH THAT IT HAD A MIDDLE BURNER IN ADDITION TO THE FLAT COOKING SURFACE. I LOVE THE COLOR ...THOUGH THE COOKTOP UNDER THE BURNER IS TOUGH TO REALLY KEEP CLEAN. WE HAVE A LARGER FAMILY AND COOK FOR LARGE GATHERINGS, IT IS A GREAT STOVE FOR THAT. THE BURNERS ARE VERY NICE AND GIVE OFF VARYING AMOUNTS OF BURNER SIZE HEAT.

We bought this range to replace one that was in the house when we bought it 12 years ago. I love the speed that the oven pre-heats and the various temps that the burners can be adjusted to.
The center griddle is great for grilled cheese sandwiches, hamburgers, pancakes and english muffins. Very satisfied and happy with our purchase.

The stove is all black, which means the control panel is hard to read. I have a microwave just above it and that has a light, but it would be much better if the stove controls themselves were brighter/lighter.
