LOVE this range!

I loved the slate color of this range, which is why I considered GE appliances. Now, I am so pleased with my purchase. I have many different brands of appliances over the years, but I have never actually "enjoyed" them. I wasn't sure about the gas convection oven at first, but now I am a believer! I made the best roast ever using convection roast. The griddle heats evenly; the burners can hold any size pot; and it is so easy to keep clean. This range has so many features that I haven't even used them all yet, but I am confident I will enjoy using this range for many years to come.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had previously written a review on the problems I initially had with this stove - bottom drawer not staying on track and gap on oven door on the first day - which thankfully have been addressed and I now have a new replacement which is not only gorgeous looking (I opted for an all SS top) but cooks and bakes like a dream. It's everything and more an experienced home cook could ask for.

Bad panel

I have a electric range of the same design and the control panel is fine. But on my new gas range the buttons do not respond as easily. I have to really push the panel to get the oven features to respond. Not at all happy with the quality of the panel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Stove

I bought this stove just in time for Thanksgiving. I've been wanting to get back to gas. This stove cooks quickly and you can instantly lower the heat when you need to simmer. I wish there was a way to lock the burner controls in the off position so the kids can't accidentally turn the gas on. Also the light in my stove lasted only 2 weeks before burning out.

Timer bell and oven bell sound needs to be louder. If not in the kitchen, you cannot hear the bell.

I purchased this product 2 weeks ago and I love it. I haven't really learned how to really bake something yet because I misplaced my owner's manual. I can hardly wait to bake my first cake.
