I just installed this dishwasher but so far I am very happy with it. My fridge is also a GE and I have had no issues with it for over 10 years.

Terrible Washing

I have to wash my dishes by hand, this dishwasher is terrible, does not clean, leaves residue all over and food. I have always been a loyal GE appliance customer, not anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great, cleans great, super quite. Only thing we don't like is if you set the delay, and open the door, you can't just close it. You have to reset the timer, which is odd.

We've been using it for just over a week now and we love it! Cleans well and is super quiet. Also love the "steam" and "sanitize" options.

Looks good and very quiet. Not as good of a design as the older model I replaced it with. Top shelf and silverware holder are a very poor design. Dishes are not completely dry after the heated drying cycle completes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good value/great performance

This dishwasher performs better than the unit it replaced, which was purchased 5 years ago for twice as much as this new one! It includes most of the features I required and I especially like the option to wash only the top or bottom rack. It's reasonably quiet and cleans very well. I do wish it included adjustable tines on the bottom &/or top racks and would have preferred that the top rack height adjustment was simpler. Regardless of these points, this purchase was a good value and I'm very satisfied
with my selection.

Cleans the dishes

Have used this machine 5 or so times. So far, for the most part dishes come out clean. We are not using the heated dry cycle anymore as we have had a coffee cup and a glass come out with severe cracks.
Also, sales person said that by stopping the cycle after a few minutes it would be the same as a rinse and hold cycle...it is not. The interior holds a lot of moisture and it is just a guessing game how long to run it.
The machine seems quiet enough; we can hear the pump draining during the cycle, but the actual wash cycle is quiet.
I like the hidden controls; however, it would be nice if the lights would all go out even if you can't see them..energy wise its a waste.
If you're concerned about fingerprints on the stainless; don't buy this one.
Style wise it's attractive.
Capacity wise it's good for us.
This is our cottage and overall, I'm somewhat satisfied except for the not having a rinse and hold cycle.
I still haven't been able to figure out the steam cycle..more later?
