Quiet with lots of baskets

This is the dishwasher at the house I'm renting and it works great. It's super quiet and has a big basket for utensils. I also like the flip down rack for wine glasses. Holds a lot and cleans well.

This is a great product. I replaced a different brand that was much more expensive that I had for about 2 years. This dishwasher is awesome. The food disposer means no more grit. The steam feature assures that baked on stuff is totally scrubbed off. The controls are easy to understand. I particularly like that as you choose features it tells you how this effects the length of the cycle. The heated drying completely avoids spots. This is a great dishwasher priced competitively with other brands with similar features. No problems here!

The dishwasher is silent and works well but does not handle the dishwasher soap packets well. Works better with liquid soap.

Installation was a nightmare! GE poor performance

Just had dishwasher delivered. My father installed it for me. He owns his own woodworking shop. He can build a house from the ground up. Installing appliances has never been an issue until this one. He actually read the instructions to make sure he hadn't missed anything. Instructions are poorly written and not enough pictures on how it is supposed to look. Side flaps look awful sticking out. Please note on instructions to "Tuck the side flaps in." I am having granite installed in a few days so it had to be attached to the cabinets on the side. My father ended up buying longer screws and placed washers on the head to keep the screws from going through the holes. Plastic caps are not necessary unless that is what GE thought should hold the appliance in place. It seats on 4 feet and is attached with 1 screw on each side. Gap from top to bottom of countertop; otherwise, would not be able to use the buttons. Not many will be looking under countertop but I can't have that gap. I will have to put wood trim under it. It looks okay and appears to be working so I'm giving it 2 stars.

We bought this dishwasher to replace a GE that we had installed when our house was built in early 1997.
