I remodeled my kitchen and was looking for appliances that look nice. I ended up purchasing all GE appliances. They look nice, work really well and are affordable. I had an old dishwasher that I never used, and after buying this one I use it every night.

I bought my GE dishwasher about 3 months ago and I am very happy with it. The controls are very easy to use and it's so quite you don't even realize its running. I'm very happy with my GE product and would recommend it to anyone.

We replaced all our appliances with GE products. The last DW we had was also GE. This one is a little quieter, but the noise it does make is disconcerting. The layout of the racks is weird also, it's as if it was designed for a very specific set of dishes, that aren't mine.
It also has less capacity than our last one, we seem to be running it twice as much as our last one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought it to replace a GE unit that lasted 15 years. The owners manual was weak and install instruction marginal.

So Quiet!

I've had this dishwasher for a little over 7 months. It rocks! The dishes come out clean every time and it's so quiet. It does have a long cycle time as others have mentioned especially when you utilize all of the cleaning features but it works!
I would recommend this to a friend!
