The black slate is so pretty...

The black slate is so pretty and doesn't get finger prints all over it like stainless steel. It gets dishes clean and is super quiet. However, I only gave it four stars because it doesn't dry very well. Using the heated dry option leaves everything very wet. Using the boost option on top of heated dry works much better, but still leaves the machine a little wet. Over time this could cause a mildew problem and I'm a little concerned about it. I don't feel I should need an extra drying agent added just to get my dishes and washer dry (like the Finish Jet Dry agent). Also the boosted option bumps the running time up to 175 minutes!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great value for the money. It works better than 2 other units I've had, is much more quiet, and looks fantastic!

Love the end of cycle beeps

All of our GE appliances work well. We are very satisfied with the performance of the dishwasher. However, the end of cycle beeps make make each one in our family smile because the dishwasher sounds happy. Almost like it’s saying ‘I’m done! Have a nice evening!’ Well done GE for finding a way to not only wash the dishes well but make the experience better.

We’ve had this for a couple weeks now, so far we love it, it’s very quiet which is great, my only issue is that I do feel I have to clean my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher or there might be some residue on it. It’s not too much of a hassle though. Other than that it’s pretty good dishwasher for the price we are happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installation was easy, much quieter than I was told, looks great and easy to operate. Love the steam option as well as upper or lower tray option
